Supporting Childhood Cancer Treatment In Our Community

On September 2, 2012 Action Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electric, Inc. conducting a charity fundraising raffle as part of the Susy’s Run / Walk 2012 event in support of the Badger Childhood Cancer Network, which took place at the Keeva Sports Center in Middleton. The raffle featured 3 prizes with a combined estimated retail value of nearly $10,000, including installation.

The raffle prizes winners were:

• Lennox Furnace / AC – Brian Donley, Madison
• Bradford White Waterheater – Carla Deakin, Pardeeville
• Hellenbrand Water Softener – Beth Walker, Waunakee

Badger Childhood Cancer Network supports families of children with cancer and life-threatening blood disorders, focused on those who live and are treated in south-central Wisconsin.

Badger Childhood Cancer Network serves kids and teens currently on treatment by providing informational materials and comfort items at diagnosis, hosting a monthly support group and family social events, offering transportation assistance and facilitating the popular American Family Children’s Hospital Peds Heme-Onc Hero Bead program. We award limited emergency financial assistance (groceries, utilities, car repairs, rent) for families in need who have a child in acute treatment. They also advocate for and raise awareness of the needs of survivors of childhood cancer, who can face a lifetime of medical and educational challenges following aggressive treatment.

Action Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning and Electric, Inc. is conducting a fundraising event and raffle benefiting the Badger Childhood Cancer Network.

The drawing will be held on Sept. 2nd at 11:00 am at the Keeva Sports Center at 8312 Forsythia Ave, Middleton, WI 53562 608-662-7529. There is a run / walk that day with Suzy Favor Hamilton and she will be the one doing the raffle drawing.

The raffle prizes include:

Grand Prize: New Furnace / AC from Lennox with an estimated value(1) of $6,742.00, including complete installation and required permits.
